Titanium Welded Tube

Welded tubes are of three types: ERW (Electric Resistance Welding), EFW (Electric Fusion Welding) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas Welding). For our production of titanium welded tubes, we use argon protected welding, one of TIG.

Due to the weld seam, the operating pressure is lower according to ASTM compared to seamless tubes. Generally, titanium welded tube have stricter dimensional tolerances than seamless tube and the cost is lower if they are based on same requirements.
