The process of titanium elbow is: first welding a polygonal polygonal polygonal ring shell or closed at both ends of the polygonal fan shell, the internal pressure is filled with the medium, the internal pressure, under the action of internal pressure, the cross section from polygon gradually become round, and finally become a circular ring shell. As required, one circular shell can be cut into 4 90° elbows or 6 60° elbows or other sizes. This process is suitable for manufacturing any large size elbows with the ratio of middle diameter to inner diameter of elbows greater than 1.5 times. It is an ideal manufacturing method for large titanium elbows.
The advantages of the titanium elbow production process are mainly shown in the following aspects:
(1) Without tube blank as raw material, the cost of tube making equipment and mould can be saved, and titanium elbow with arbitrary large diameter and relatively thin wall thickness can be obtained.
(2) The blank is flat or developable surface, so the feeding is simple, the accuracy is easy to ensure, and the assembly and welding are convenient.
(3) Due to the above two reasons, the manufacturing cycle can be shortened and the production cost greatly reduced.
(4) Titanium elbow is suitable for pipeline series in oil, natural gas, chemical, hydropower, construction and boiler industries.
